DHCP Disable Option with Router Capabilities
The XE75 Pro lacks the ability to disable DHCP while keeping routing functions active.
This limits flexibility for advanced setups where an external DHCP server is preferred. Please consider adding this feature in a firmware update to improve usability.

I recently bought the Deco BE65 Pro and was shocked at the lack of functionality to DISABLE the DHCP server. I have searched this forum and have seen threads going back to 2019 requesting the ability to disable DHCP! What is the holdup?
AND NO I DO NOT WANT TO PUT THE UNITS IN ACCESS POINT! I did not pay an exorbitant price for these devices to dumb them down to AP.
I have a home server with a built-in DCHP server which is required for the various applications hosted on the server. Please pull your collective heads out of your behinds and give the people what they are asking for!
Your attention and urgency to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I couldn’t agree more with everything you said.
It’s honestly ridiculous that there’s still no option to disable the DHCP server after all these years of people asking for it. Forcing us into AP mode is a complete cop-out, especially for anyone running a home server with its own DHCP.
It’s a basic feature that should’ve been included from the start. TP-Link really needs to wake up and prioritize fixing this - it’s beyond frustrating at this point.

Well... my patience ran out. Clearly tp-link has no concept of good customer service or plans to resolve this issue, so I returned the Deco to Best Buy and got a refund. I ended up buying the ASUS ZenWiFi AXE7800 at a much reduced cost. While it may not have the WiFi-7 functionality, it does support the ability to disable DHCP!!!
I did discover that the three nodes that came with the "kit" that I purchased provided better WiFi coverage than the Deco, so it is a win-win!
Best of luck in getting your issues resolved with these jokers.
