required to use router's DHCP, but lacks default domain (aka dns suffix) functionality
I recently upgraded my network to a Deco system. I have run my own DHCP service for many years and would prefer to do this, but my Deco has no way to disable it's built-in DHCP service. Okay, so I stop running my own DHCP and setup DHCP on the Deco. Now my network clients are required to issue fully qualified domain names (FQDN) because the Deco's DHCP does not have a way to define default domain name, also known as dns suffix. This is an industry standard for DHCP services. @GaryParr described this functionality very well in this thread.
I would ask for either one of the following features (while both would be great): (1) ability to disable DHCP; (2) DHCP accepts entry for default domain / dns suffix.
