Deco P9 constantly switching between Wi-Fi and PLC
Hi,
My network consists of 5 Decos P9 having a main one connected to the router through Ethernet
One other Deco is connected to the main one through Ethernet and other two are stable through WiFi backhaul but I have one much further away where WiFi is spotty but it keeps switching between power line and wifi
it keeps dropping connection if I pull it even further away it switches to plc only and resumes its normal operation this however is not a option since I have nowhere to place it besides the place where the WiFi is spotty I read everywhere and I see that the P9s prioritize WiFi over PLC no plans to force PLC only or at least change the priority

Hi, welcome to our community.
May I confirm how far you put the farthest Deco P9 from other Deco units?
If you move it closer to other Decos for a test, can the performance be better?
Please keep the Deco units far away from high-power appliances to avoid possible interference.

@PedroCavaleiro I do not believe the P9 prioritizes WiFi over PLC. The P9 will attempt to simultaneously use PLC and the two wifi bands.
If you see it switching, it probably means that all media are barely usable.

it makes no sense that when I move enough to loose WiFi backhaul while still connected to the same outlet the PLC backhaul starts working normally and stable

I have a 3 phase instalation and 2 of them are covered by P9s
The connection Follows
Basement -> PLC: Living Room
Basement -> Ethernet: Studio
Studio -> PLC: Garage (when working as expected)
Studio -> Wi-Fi: 2nd Floor office
Although the Studio and 2nd Floor office are in the same phase for some reason it uses Wi-Fi, in this case it's not a issue because the wifi signal is medium/strong thus not causing any interruptions
When the Garage P9 starts missbehaving it connects to the basement via Wi-Fi
This is the diagram of the P9's working as expected
When working as expected it connects to the correct P9 (sometimes a reboot does the trick assuming that I can connect to it long enough to send the command otherwise I need to disconnect it from the power and reconnect it)
A side note, I have IoT devices connected to various P9s (Shelly devices and Tapo Cameras) they all have static IPs and don't appear on the Deco App is this expected?
It doesn't bother me it just makes me wonder if it's a bug or if it's expected
