Archer T3U - WiFi connections drops every 5 seconds
2025-01-11 16:03:58
i just noticed that my wifi have a huge lagspike every couple minutes for 1 or 2 seconds, which some softwares like discord really don't like
on the driver website only the V1 is available so i assume it's the only one
i was wondering if there was a "hidden" version or something.

Hi, welcome to our community.
It is suggested to Case2 in the guide to troubleshoot:
What should I do if the TP-Link network adapter is not working properly in my computer?
You may also contact local technical support for direct help.
Thank you and best regards.

I checked every points of the "Case 2" and nothing changed it's still doing that disconnecting every couple minutes for a couple seconds which is barely enough to kick me out of games or discord sometimes if i ping -t the router i'm connected to it stay between 1 and 4 ms, then sometimes jump to 30-80 ms on a single ping i have the TU3 Nano which is supposed to be Dual band but i think the router itself doesn't support 5GHz (i don't have access to it so i don't even know what model it is) the fact that it's 2.4GHz should only impact the max speed (a blazing 40 Mbits/s) but i really think it's the wifi key that somehow just "pause" for 5 seconds every now and then i have the driver installed from teh website and did all the updates i could find on my PC
