Kindersichung internetzeit

Hallo,

Hi @Tassadar,
According to the translation of Google Translate, I think that your question is that parental control will not affect after the router reboot. If there is any discrepancy, please describe it in English.
If the client device has the random MAC address feature turned on and the router is frequently restarted, it usually causes the following:
1. New MAC address: The client may generate a new random MAC address each time it connects.
2. New IP address: Since the router assigns IP addresses based on the MAC address, the new random MAC address will cause the router to assign a new IP address to the device.
Parental control functions usually identify and manage devices by MAC address. If the device has the random MAC address feature enabled, parental control may fail because the device's MAC address changes each time it connects.
The following are suggestions:
1. Use static IP: Set a static IP address for a specific device in the router to ensure that it always uses the same address in the network.
2. Disable random MAC on your phone.
