Firmware Version: 1.2.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 240718 Rel.53010n

I've recetly switched to a 4g router and unlimted data SIM running on the Vodafone UK network.
The router is doing internet stuff fine and working well.
However I want to setup an openVPN server on the router.
This is to access my home network securely.
I've used a TP Link dynanmic DNS and tried setting up open VPN.

I've used Port 1194 and UDP.
Unfortunately so far I haven't been able to connect to the VPN.
I am primarily using my phone to try and connect.

Any ideas?

Edit - I'm starting to wonder if my IP address is public sad . I've now confirmed the IP provided by my 4g ISP is hidden and VPN doesn't work.

Hi, welcome to our community.

As I know, most ISPs provide private IP address if you are using sim card for internet access.

It is suggested to contact your ISP to confirm if you are not sure.

Thank you and best regards.

Thanks for you comment. I will contact my 4g ISP again but unfortunately it seems my ISP provides a hidden IP address so I have not been able to resolve this issue. I may either have to return to a standard ISP (not 4g) or use a commercial VPN which will only give a partial solution. I'll update my original post. Thanks again.
