Hi, i have 2 MR-3020, and different usb dongles, one of which is TPLINK MA180 and on the compat list.

neither sticks detect, just tried for ages then says unplugged, i have tried it on two MR3020

any advice?

i am on latest firmware.

There is an open-source firmware which you download from here: http://ofmodemsandmen.com/downloads.html

Install the firmware as if it was a TP-Link firmware upgrade, then once installed, go to the router's admin page.

Then go to the modem section, add your network's APN settings, and you should be good to go, worked for me!
