Powerline extender continuously rebooting

Boa noite
Comprei um kit Powerline e não está a funcionar: o adaptador que está ligado ao router, tem os 3 LEDs ligados e fixos mas o extender está constantemente a reiniciar de 2 em 2 minutos. Entre cada reinício é possível ligar-me ao extender pelo wifi e aceder à internet

Hi, welcome to our community.
Did you ever try different power sockets? Is there any wired device connected to the extender via Ethernet cable?
If you relocate the powerline extender to the room where the powerline adapter is placed, does the problem remain?
You may try reset the powerline kit and configure them again to check.

Thank you for your reply.
The problem is independent of the power socket used: I even tried to use the adapter and extender in two sockets that are placed side by side and the rebooting remains.
I also tried the factory reset and there is no ethernet cable attached to the extender
