Hi there!
I have been having this problem for some time now and I followed few steps I found but it still happening.
All people in the house are using laptops (1notebook and 2 macs, if it makes a difference) and the cablemodem is plugged to the wireless router mentioned.
Sometimesit disconnects once a day, sometimes 3 times a day.
I have to turn off the (i doint know what the name in english, but where you can plug more than one thing) where the modem and router are conected. count to 10, turn it on, count to 20, repeat. yes, I have to do it 2 times.
Theres a repeater somewhere in the house.
What I did was to change the channel, cause I read it could be disconnecting due to interference with other networks; but it kept on disconnecting.
Any solution, advice?

Can't you post where, brand, model & version, that could be a cause of your issue.
note; I posted a cause, not the cause of your issue.


yes,
its an encore 3g wireless n150
i think they just plugged it to the wall without making the setup.
just finished reading the manual about this device but i cant set it up because it does not support mac.

can the repeater make interference ?
i called the isp and said its the router,they couldnt give me any answers

also, in the random question i have to put a string of characters, but i already tried 5 times!

Have you try to fix a channle both on your router and your repeater?

i disconnected the repeater;
but the problem is still there;
the weird thing is that it shows im connected to the router, but not to the internet.
i changed the channel thing to 8, so its not in auto anymore,
do i have to change also the channel width ?

TL-WR941ND is a 300Mbps Wireless N Router, do you have other 300Mbps in your network.

i dont have at home, but there are other wireless networks from my neighbours
