TL-WPA4220KIT clonning issue

Region : Netherlands

Model : TL-WPA4220

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version :

ISP : Ziggo

I followed the instructions on the user manual but the device doesn't seem to clone, since I keep on sensing the default TP-link SSID ( instead of the one my router supports)
What should I do?

Mordechai - I have the exact same issue as you, just bought this kit and its managed to pair ok, but cloning still displays the TP-LINK SSID. Anyone out there that can help??????

Eventually, I connected the TP-link device to my PC using an Ethernet cable and configured it manually ( i.e inserted the very same SSID and Password as in my wireless Lan Router).

the wifi clone use the WPS technology to copy the wireless parameters from the main router, maybe the the wps failed during cloning that.
you can put the 4220 near to the main router (to keep the good wireless connection), if still fail, maybe the two device have some compatibility problem, then we have to configure them manually, just like Mordechai said.

I had the same problem.

The fix is to plug in the power line adaptor and wait for the thing to settle down and LEDs not changing.

Then press router WPS button and when clearly in WPS mode quickly press power line cloning but tone and again wait for the slow flashing and finally fast flashing.

Works well.
