Hi Extreme Powerline virgin here so apologies for non-tec lingo
I have a TP Link router and have bought a powerline extender kit ( TL-WPA4220KIT ). I want the wifi extender to extend existing network to allow roaming around house on same network.
I have followed the instructions but when I checked wifi signal in our lounge (with my kindle fire running a wifi analyser app) where the extender is I saw 2 wifi signals on separate channels but with the same TP link name (as my network) and I can access both with same (my) wifi network password.
Can a cloned wifi network work across different channels and thus cloning work or has cloning failed?? - which I suspect it has - and if so how did this happen after first attempt ?
Many thanks
