Hey TP-LINK !!

 

I'm using Deco X20 (V3) as a main unit and using (5) Deco M4 (V2) units as a satellite units on beta firmware 1.7.0 but the problem is when i set the prefere deco unit and band to a specific device so after reboot settings back to default on all deco units Deco X20 and Deco M4 what can i do know?

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

May I confirm whether the problem happens on each device that you took connection preferences? And does it happen on each client device?

And when you found the choice changed into Auto(Recommended) on Deco app, for the client device, please check whether it is still connected to the preferred Deco and band you chose before.

Please share us the Deco app log referring to (the thread) using the email address you registered on our community

  @Marvin_S Yeah happens on each device which i select for Connection Preferences and when the Connection Preferences back to AUTO after reboot so my client devices back to any deco unit not always connected on prefered deco which i select before reboot. My devices connects on far away deco units not the nearest one after reboot. I have shared App Logs too.

  @Marvin_S Yeah i checked but i don't want to give them remote access. Kindly fix it by providing beta firmware.
