I bought a new computer and this adapter a few months ago. At random intervals, all the USB devices in my computer are disconnected and reconnected. This only happens when the adapter is connected. Sometimes I need to unplug the adapter and plug it back in in order for it to connect to the internet again.
I have tried altering the power saving settings regarding USB devices, but the problem is still there.
As far as I know, all the drivers are up to date and the device is supposedly "working properly".

How can I fix this? Please tell me how to do it as well since I'm not great with computers.

How can I find that out? I can't find this adapter in the device manager list.

Ok, installed it. Let's see how this goes.

Edit: a day has passed and it's still working properly.

Didn't have any problems for a week or so, it's starting to have the same problem again though. Happened once a day in the last two days, which is still much much better than it was before though.

The problem is back, it has been disconnecting at least 5 or 6 times a day. Is there a new driver I can download? The one you linked (and the one I'm currently using) is still from March 2014 so it might be out of date.
