Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 240715 Rel.60489n

I am not able to do proper call using Jio VoWiFi. First of all, VoWiFi doesn't appear automatically while connecting to Archer MR600. It appears when there is at least one signal bar in my phone. Once the VoWiFi appears, I can make calls but problem is that whenever I call someone, it rings and when the person receives the call, it disconnects. Further, if someone tries to call me when I am on VoWiFi, they complain that my phone is unreachable. Furthermore, outgoing and incoming SMS do not work either on VoWiFi mode.

I use iPhone 15 for my Jio sim. I checked my sim with an Android phone as well but the same problem persists in other phone also. I tried configuring DNS manually by setting it Google DNS (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4) as well but no luck.

I am using BSNL sim in the Archer MR600 router for internet so my ISP is BSNL in this case. The Speedtest shows 10 Mbps download and around 5 Mbps upload speeds.

Please provide solution to resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance

Hi, welcome to our community.

Here are some suggestions for your reference:

1. Check VoWiFi Settings
Ensure that VoWiFi is enabled on your iPhone:
Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Enable LTE and make sure Voice & Data is selected.
Under Settings > Phone, check if Wi-Fi Calling is enabled.
2. Router Configuration
Quality of Service (QoS): Enable QoS settings on the router to prioritize VoWiFi traffic.
Firmware Update: Ensure that your Archer MR600 firmware is up-to-date.
3. Network Settings
Reboot the Router: Sometimes a simple reboot can fix connectivity issues.
DNS Settings: You've already set Google DNS, but try resetting it to your ISP's default DNS and check if it helps.
IP Address Conflict: Ensure that no two devices on your network have the same IP address. You may want to set static IPs for your devices.
4. Test with Different Devices
Since you mentioned the issue persists on both iPhone and Android, confirm that the Jio SIM works without issues in other networks (like a different Wi-Fi network).
5. Contact Support
If the problem continues, consider reaching out to Jio customer support to confirm if there are any known issues with VoWiFi in your area.
You may also want to contact BSNL to ensure there are no issues with your internet connection.

Thank you and best regards.
