Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.8.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 240507 Rel.41141n

Hi. 

 

I would like to change the 4G router hardware name to call it something different then its brand/model.

 

I dont want to change the host name but the name of the device itself.

 

Is it possible?

 

Assistance: is it a functonality that can be introduced with a new firmware?

Hi, welcome to our community.

It does not support to change device(Archer MR550) name on the Network Map page of web UI.

You may consider changing it on Tether app referring to the guide.
