Hi all.
I am trying to get some information on using the TL-WA7510N & connecting the TL-ANT5830B.
What I need to find out is, can I have a (office AP) TL-WA7510N pointing to another TL-WA7510N (building A Client) then attach the TL-ANT5830B antenna to it & have it pointed to another TL-WA7510N (building B Client) that is in the opposite direction, the reason for this is that the TL-WA7510N at (building B) when pointed to the office points to the back of the office unit.
Or
How would you configure using 2 x TL-WA7510N at the office both connect to a switch, with 1 pointing to Building A & the other pointing to building B.
Both ways need full internet & networking.
I have 2 PDF site map files if you would like them emailed, they are 1.7mg so I can't add them here.
Thanks for any information in advance.

1-that's the easiest part, in wireless advanced/Antenna Setting/enable external antenna
2-I don't understand this one, sounds weird, cause if both face each other how could this be possible, elaborate
3-as you posted AP-Client on the Client side there would be only wire or LAN internet not wireless
4-with 7510 it would be a nightmare.
Note: you never posted link distance between buildings
Thank you fotodamaris.
I have attached 2 images to show the set up.
Point 1: so I can enable external antenna but will that disable the internal antenna in the 7510?
Point 2: as you can see in the images, from gate 1 it points to the back of the 7510 at the office if I us 1 x 7510 pointing to gate 2
Point 3: wire & LAN internet, thats all i need.
Point 4; so it would be a nightmare trying to get wire & Lan internet both ways, the main thing for this system it so we can have internet connectivity at Gate 1 & Gate 2 (see images) to be able running of our ticketing system.
We can't rely on any wireless ISP eg Telstra as the main tower in town is only equipped to handle 3000 or so connections & we have over 8000 people each day for 3 days, with face book been used to give up dates on the next time of an event. We have 2 x ADSL connections in at the office, provided by Telstra, but we need to set up the rest our selves.
Thanks Again
Swany

Hi Fotodamaris.
Thanks again.
I know about the 7510 been 5GHz & that is what TP-Link recommended, but can't get any more info out of them. This won't be a public network, only used for the festival system that is all web based, If I could run 500 meters of cat5 cable then there would not be a problem, Telstra is providing the ADSL Internet to the office & don't have the know how on the rest (I was told by them to set up our own) but again I hit a snag as we are 150km from a town that might have an expert, I have been networking since the old 286 386 days, & run the IT Department for them. From what i have now read i think this is the solution, if Point 1: When I enable external antenna in advance, will that disable the internal antenna in the 7510? If it doesn't disable it then I can have it running in 2 directions & that will solve the problem, Office AP then Gate 1 & 2 set as Clients.
If not then can you run 2 x 7510's from the office plugged in to a switch? Making it AP1 to Gate 1 Client & AP2 to Gate 2 Client?
Regards
Swany

I have 3 of them, I do have time to DD-WRT them about 4 days, is it backward flashable? So do I get another one & have 2 at the office pointing 1 to gate 1 & the other to gate 2, or just turn the antenna on & hope for the best, or does the DD-WRT allow for the internal & external run together. I had a quick look at the CPE510, will do more work on that one with the next setup.

Hi.
I finally set up 4 x WA7510N's with the antenna used from the office to the gate 1, I set up the internet hub as a DHCP then ran 1 ethernet to a TP-SF1008D switch, from the switch to the main computer then connected AP-1 & AP2 to the switch, at the other end I had Client-1 that then went in to another switch that then had 2 laptops running the booking system at gate 2 & the same at gate 1. I used 10.0.0.138 on the DHCP then 50, 51,52,54 on the WA7510N's. On the laptops I had them on auto IP. Then on 1 of the laptops at each gate I set up a wireless hot spot, that then went out & we used hand held IPhone scanners to check in bar codes, while the laptops took, cash & credit card payments. The system was up for 8 days with a 3 sec out, when the sound guy put some speakers up in a tree.
All went well.
I have attached what the festival looked like from the Air.
Thanks For your help.
