Cannot access devices on network

Hi,
I have a Powerline kit all attached devices can access the internet without problems and I can see some devices on the network however I cannot see some devices. Is there something I'm missing?
I have a HDD on one of the nodes which I can access and a printer attached to the same node that I can see put not print to. That node also has a Mac connected wirelessly that I cannot see at all.
Any ideas?
