Model: Archer AX23
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20240822 Rel. 44461(5553)

Hardware Version:

Archer AX23 v1.20

I noticed an option on my router's settings page to update the firmware to version 1.1.2 Build 20250115 Rel. 56488. However, I'm hesitant to proceed because of a previous experience where an auto-update installed firmware meant for a different model or hardware version. I've also come across similar reports from other users online. Additionally, I couldn't find this firmware version listed for my device on the TP-Link website. Would it be safe to update? My router has been unstable lately, and I'm tempted to try the update in hopes that it might resolve the issue.

Hi@g7styles,

If you see the update notification after logging into the router's management interface, you can try to update.
The firmware information on the official website is sometimes not synchronized in time, I will send feedback to the relevant department for timely adjustment.
If you have other questions after the update, please feel free to reply.

I went ahead and updated to the latest firmware, and everything seems to be running smoothly so far.
