Hi ,

I switch from TL-PA511KIT to TL-PA6010KIT to get better performance.

I got 100mbit connection and when I used the TL-PA511KIT I got around 11mb/s when I have turn off the power saving.
Now when I plug in the PA6010 in the same power socket as the PA511 was I got around 6mb/s.

How can it be that I get worse performance with PA6010 then with PA511?

Is there any SwitchPowerSaveTool utility for the PA6010 ? Or some other way to turn off the power saving to test and see if the performance gets better or maybe a beta firmware?

Kristofer, you didn't install the powerline utililty to monitor rate between two PA6010?
Test if when they are in the same room and in different rooms.

Thanks for the reply Ada.

I have check the the rate with the utility and it around 230 Mbps for the PA6010.
I dont have the PA511 left but I think the rate was around 185 Mbps.

I changed from PA511 to PA6010 because I had some connection timeout from time to time.

The powerlines is around 3 meter from each other and are on the same fuse.

Can you reset them one by one with utility and check the rate again?
Any firmware update for your PA6010？

Thanks for the help Ada.

I had the up-to-date firmware on the devices but I reflashed them and rested and got Download: 84 Mbits/s compared to 62 Mbits/s so thats at good step forward.











It would be great to be able to turn off the power saving to see if there will be any performance boost.
