Region : UnitedKingdom

Model : TL-WDN3200

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version :

ISP : Virgin Media

Hi I have a TL-WDN3200 and i cannot connect to my routers 5ghz connection. I can see the signal but after i put in the password (not misspelling it or anything) it says "Unable to connect to network". It works on my phone and my other family members PCs so i know that its my PC

I have tried every frequency available under the Country Region (5GHz)

Please help as my 2.4ghz connection is horrendously slow and cuts out frequently

Many Thanks

What's the operating system of your PC installed WDN3200?
If you disable Wi-Fi security on the router, does it connect to 5GHz Wi-Fi successfully?
What's the model number of your router?

Its because of the drivers. It'll work in 8.1 if you use the drivers off the site. Windows or windowsupdate drivers DONT support 5 ghz

They dont work in Windows 10 either. You'll only get the option to connect to 2.4 ghz. TPLink need to get their A into G and find or make a Windows 10 driver.

That supports both bands. No point calling it a dual band adapter, if you cant connect it to 2.4 and 5 ghz channels

Get these then you'll have 5 ghz. I've just installed the drivers (without the utility). Now I can select the 5 ghz

A driver by the chipset manufacturer can be found here.
