Hardware Version : V1

WDR3600 running the lastest firmware. I'm using a Virgin Superhub in modem mode passing through to my WDR3600 as the router. I'm trying to forward some ports to my Raspberry Pi (local ip 192.168.0.101). I have a WAN IP which I'm using to try and connect on the forwarded ports but the connections just time out, any advice?

WAN IP is public or private?
Can you access it locally with the LAN IP and ports?

WAN IP is public and I can access the service locally with no issue.

Try DMZ to see what happens. How did you access it locally?

Can access the SSH port locally using Putty, address 192.168.0.101, port 22. DMZ had no effect on remote access.

If so, remotely, are you using Putty as well with WAN port and port 22?
I noticed that you opened two ports for the host. What does 1025 work for?
Disable anti-virus and windows firewall to test.

Using the exact same setup when I try to connect remotely (same machine + Putty) with the WAN IP and port, connection times out.

1025 is forwarded for an IRC bouncer running on the host (Raspberry Pi), again, this works locally but not remotely.

In internal network, can your connect with WAN IP and port since WDR3600 should support nat loopback?
Not sure what is going on. What does the WAN IP obtained on router page start with?

Alright, got it working remotely. Had to clear out the iptable rules on my Pi (even though it was accepting connections fine when I was running DD-WRT on the router).

Thanks for your help!
