I've also experienced similar issues.

I deactivated all the homeshield stuff, and still it didn't work.
A week later, I did avfull reboot of all the tp-link mesh network nodes, and suddenly I had access to BBC again.
Then a week later, it went back to not working again, despite all the homeshield stuff still being off.

What I do notice is that I can (and always have been able to) access BBC through firefox, so it's something to do with the way Chrome is making/authenticating connection I guess.

This is very frustrating, and suprised that it's taking so long for Tp-link to address this.

  @spicyhotone I don't think it's as simple as just relating to Chrome, at least not for me. I have different things working on different devices. For example, iPlayer works on TVs but not on iphones. BBC web sites work on an iPhone but not on a laptop. 

  @David-TP Is there any solution to this? It's not just Chrome affected as it also impacts iPlayer on a phone. Presumably the answer is not just disabling all the TP-Link security permanently?
