Universal Repeater Mode : TL-WA901ND V3.1 Freezing

Recently bought a TL-WA901ND 3.1 and set it to Universal Repeater mode (repeating for a TL-WR1043ND v2).
After 10hrs+ (guessing since I'm not here to keep checking) the AP freezes. And has to be rebooted.
I have tried some of the fixes from this forum WMM off ShortGI off etc.... but nothing works.
At a loose, at what to do next!.
