TL-WA854RE no internet access after a couple of minutes

Hi,
I bought an TL-WA854RE but I can't get it to work properly. My friend who lives on the same level of our house as me has perfect internet access, but the extender stops working for me after a couple of minutes.
When I connect to the extender with my phone it works fine and the connection is perfect. But after a couple of minutes my internet access is just gone. I still got a perfect signal but the internet access is gone.
My friend doesn't have this problem with his phone. He uses a Motorola Moto G and I use an OnePlus One.
On my laptop it takes quite a while to connect to the extender, and when it does connect is says that the connection is limited.
Does anyone have a clue on how to solve this issue?
