I am using BSNL EVDO AC8700 ZTE Modem.
I connected AC8700 to the router. It was identified ans the status showing connecting..
I kept APN blank, since BSNL EVDO is not providing.
Entered username and password given by the provider.
Updated latest firmware from Tplink site. Till the problem not rectified.

I am having Teracon U500 Evdo modem from BSNL , It was not identified by the router 3040.
Please help me to solve this issue.

Your MR3040 is V1 or V2?
If it is V2, maybe you can try to get a beta firmware from TP-LINK support team and test if it works.

Firmware Version : Problem persists on all three firmware

ISP : BSNL india on EVDO

[COLOR=#333333]Today i purchased brand new Tp-Link MR-3040 3G/4G router for my BSNL EVDO modem..as this product is shown to support ZTE AC8700 modem...but it doesnt seem to work..
[COLOR=#333333]I put the right dial-up number,user name and password that i use when i connect modem to laptop and left APN field blank...The modem gets identified by the router but it just don't connect to internet,it just keeps saying "connecting.....". Also the signal strength is shown 0%...

[COLOR=#333333]If your modem is really supporting ZTE AC8700 modem why its not working?????

You didn't see what I suggested above?
Try to get a beta firmware from TP-LINK support team and test if it works.

The ZTE AC2766 modem gets identified by the router but it just don't connect to internet,it just keeps saying "connecting.....". Any idea?

Plz tell me the process of connecting.
I have also purchased TL-MR3040 to connected with BSNL evdo zte ac8700. I have upgrated my router firmware (beta version provided by tplink support team). But router only identify the modem not connecting to internet.

Please kindly provide the link or send the beta version of the firmware as myself also facing the same problem. I wrote to tp link but still they are provided me the beta version. I have also using the same version as shown by you bt ZTE AC8700 unable to connect thatwhy kindly provide the beta version firm ware please.
