I don't think it relates to the controller.

You can reset it and use it for a few days in standalone mode. Which does not affect the config stored on the controller. You can use them later on if this is not a problem on the controller/router.

What do you do to restore the network connection?

May I suggest you, once the WAN is down, to just simply disconnect WAN cable from TP-Link router and connect it again?

Just for testing...

I know it sounds stupid but I'm currently dealing with an issue where my router is loosing WAN connection every week, and just simple WAN reconnection fixes the issue... And TP-Link dev team is already reviewing that case. This may not be related. It may not work for you, but it would be great to check if that's the same symptom :)

I've also changed LAN IP pool from 192.168.x.x/24 on ER605 to 10.0.x.x/24 on ER8411.

After close inspection on WAN (ISP) config of PPPoE connection I've got WAN Gateway IP at 10.0.x.x

That also could be a problem ?

I don't understand what you mean. Don't catch it at all. WAN and LAN should not be on the same subnet.

Draw a diagram with the IP specified.
