Bridge with Ap not working

Hardware Version : V3
Firmware Version : 1401030
ISP : Orange
I got the access point just yesterday and im trying to bridge it with another ap, unforunfortunately it keeps disconnecting with the ap to the point where i feel i just bought a nonfunctional device. I upgraded it to the latest firmware but the problem persisted, so i downgraded to 1401030 hoping it might not suffer from the same problem. Unfortunately all firmwares suffer from same problem. Is it a bug? Or Did i buy a faulty device?
