Hello,
As the title states, I am experiencing slow reboot times with the latest drivers for the T2U V1 adapter.
The 140523 ones do not cause the problem, however I cannot use them as my download speed with them seems to get limited to 55mbps(instead of 80mbps with 150108, as is the actual speed for which I am paying my provider).
What happens when I try to restart is that you can see the windows restart screen, then the monitor turns off. I can then also see that the adapter light keeps blinking. This generally lasts about 30 seconds and then the PC restarts completely.
The problem occurs only with the latest drivers(150108) and not the previous ones ( 140523). Shutdown speed is not affected and the PC turns off normally with either of them.
I generally do not restart often, but this kinda annoys me.
Thank you for any answers in advance.
Best regards,
Ivo.

Did you try to unplug the adapter or uninstall the driver to see what happens?

Hello,
Using the Windows drivers again causes slow download speeds(as in the 140523 ones) , however the reboot problem is not there. Unplugging the adapter before restart with the newest drivers, does appear to bypass the issue, however that is a work around and quite annoying to do.
I believe that for some reason the new drivers tend to keep the USB adapter alive for longer than it should be and this essentially gets the reboot stuck, until it gets killed. This is just a guess however.

Hello,
I bought yesterday this Wi-Fi adapter, and I have the same issue... :(
Not even for reboots, but also just during shutdowns.
I really hope this problem will be resolved soon, cause it's been a while now that the last driver version came out.
And this driver adapter is still not Windows 10 (which I'm using btw) certified.
I hope they are really working on it...

Hi guys,
Also had this same problem with my ac600 in Win 10, I managed to solve by installing a direct driver MediaTek, follow the link:

Just put your name/e-mail and download!
