The main router is secured with WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK.
If so, password of 28 digits should be OK. What's the firmware version of your WA701ND?

If it is secured with WEP, the password cannot be 28 digits... Can you login web interface of your main router to have a check?
Is it Hexadecimal format or ASCII Format? The key type is 64-bit, 128-bit or 152-bit?
