Model: Archer AX1500
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: up to date

Dear sir,

My AX1500 Wi-Fi 6 Router keeps getting disconnected from WAN, and gets lights to red/orange and sometimes disappear lights of internet.

after that unplug to powers from router for 15 seconds then plug the powers sometime it comes light and sometime didnt.

than i plug the cable to my tp-link wr850 extender , the light is on then plug the cable to my newly boughted ax1500 wifi 6 router. than light is on.

i checked everything the cable and modem also working good.

i did every thing changed the troubleshoot suggestion as dns server to 8.8.8.8 . the same problem disconnect after 1 or 2 hours.

How can I start diagnosing this issue. It's getting annoying and boring.  the router is disconnected from WAN.

what is the solution of this issue and how to solve this annoying problems?

Thank you and regards,

  @waqad

Check the WA850RE hardware version. It's on its bottom sticker.

If it's HW v7 update the firmware of your WA850RE to the latest one from here and test how it goes.

If this was helpful click on the arrow pointing upward to make it blue. If this solves your issue, click the star to make it blue and mark the post as a "Recommended Solution".

Hi @waqad,

Thank you for reporting your issue to our community.

Is your network topology like this:

ISP modem—router )))((( range extender )))((( client devices

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )

If yes, please remove the range extender for a comparison test. If the issue disappears, you can try the suggestion of terziyski.
