that means that the router can save the login details of the uses and make it easier to connect to the ISP each time the router is booted or if it is looged out!

PPPoE or Dynamic IP is selected as WAN connection type?
The router won't lose the configure if you just reboot or restart it. When you turn it off, it will connect to internet automatically as well if there is no limitation on your modem.

Auto login by Router

1. Most of the broadband providers (other than BSNL/MTNL - ie, ADSL), connects with a cat6 cable or a fibre then Media Converter to cat6.
This is because they feel user will connect directly to his computers ethernet port.
2. Then the user has to open his browsers with the ISP's login web page and put his/her username and password. Then only the internet will be activated.
How to bypass this process in (2) above. The router should complete the process in (2) above.
The problem is, so far no call center of Alliance/wishnet/CITI/RIL could answer a single question "what type of authentication server you have?" - answer to this question could solve the problem. The router has A. PPoE, B. PPTP, C. L2TP, D. BigPond, E. Static and F. Dyanamic options.
The ISP should provide the process and details in (A) to (F) above.
[[But unfortunately, they either do not know what they are doing OR less cared because they feel user has to fall in line with them and continue with them. Days are very close that this type of ISPs will vanish when proper high speed mobile will gear up.]]

I have tried with all 5 options with Alliance (they have their own client), wishnet, CITI, RIL but nothing works other that Static and Dyanamic with my TL-R480T+

I am still thinking if the TP-Link router can make a web login to ISP AUTOMATICALLY by opening "http://1.1.1.1" or "http://172.16.0.1" something like that?????????????????

Would something like Dashlane or LastPass (password managers) do an auto login from your browser?
