Model: Archer NX200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.0 3.0.0 v60a2.0 Build 240814 Rel.58842n

Hello everyone,

I have following question:

My previous network configuration was as follows:

- Gigacube 5G (MC888 Ultra) as 5G Modem

- AX55 connected via Ethernet as Wi-Fi Router and Mesh Controller

- RE650 V2 as Extender

- Powerline Network consisting of 2xWPA8631 V4 Wi-Fi Adapters + 2 Additional non-wifi TP-Link Powerline adapters (output adapter connected via ethernet to AX55)

I recently wanted to optimize a bit the whole structure, so I have bought NX200 V1 to use it as 5G Router and Mesh Controller, so my recent config looks like this:

- NX200 as 5G Router and Mesh Controller

- AX55 as Mesh Router/Extender (replacing RE650 which had no EasyMesh support - only OneMesh)

- powerline (same config) connected via ethernet directly to NX200

I factory reseted all devices and created both mesh and powerline networks from scratch.

What is positive: 5G download and upload speeds across house are very good

What is negative:

- AX55 is no more visible through Tether App, no matter what I do

- Mesh control over NX200 is way worse then it was through AX55 and I would like to understand why?

How does it look like?

- Wired clients connected through Powerline are no more visible (were always visible when AX55 was mesh controller)

- Both Tether App and Web Configuration shows, that all Wireless devices have very poor signal connecting to access points (no matter which), although from device side signal is very strong and download/uploads rates are very good

- Powerline is not accessible through tpPlc app, only through IP-Web Config

In total, performance of the whole system looks promising, but the control of the clients, lack of the wired ones and wrong signal informations are quite frustrating.

Is the NX200 software and mesh control so much worse then AX55? Where is it coming from?

Thanks for ideas!

Konrad
