Hi,

I wanted to say hello for everybody. This is my first thread in this forum.

I have configured my new router in my home network. It seems to be working OK, but I have a question about a sense of IOT Wifi network.

I have connected my smart devices to IOT Wifi network. I thought that it will separate this devices from my main network, but the case is that if I connect also my laptop to IOT Wifi I still can access to the router configuration via website (192.168.0.1) and other devices in main network. If I do the same with guest network I can access to main network.

In the setup of guest wifi there is a checkbox which allows you to give access to main network, but there is no such setup for IOT. So what is a sense of IOT network in this router?

Thanks

Rafal

I can't edit the post.... there is a typo... If I connect to guest network I can't access devices connected to main network which is OK. If I do the same with IOT network I can access to main network devices which does not make sense.
