Hi,

 

I need your help for the following situation.

 

I have already a working network of three Deco X50.

I decided to setup a second network in a new home with one X20 and one X50 as the main deco. To do that, I removed one of the X50 units of the first network (not the main one) and set it up as the main unit of the new network. Everything worked great for both networks. But when I decided to remove the already transferred  Deco X50 from the first network since it was shown as non operational, the Second network disappeared.... and it is not working. Any help is much appreciated

  @yannpi Before physically removing one of the X50 units of the first network, you should have removed it from the network using the app.

 

Now, you should physically reset the Deco of the second network, and create the second network again via the app.

  @yves_b thank you for taking time to reply and the useful info. So I guess the X50 unit that was set up in the new network without firstly removing it from the old one, disappeared from the New network and since it was the main deco, the whole network disappeared as well... is this right?

  @yannpi I believe, indeed, the app was not prepared to remove from one network a Deco having been added, in the mean time, to another network.

 

You created an unusual situation, and the app did not handle it well.

 

It is recommended to use the app for actions such as removing a Deco from a network.
