Slow internet on M7200

I recently acquired the TP Link M7200. I have now tested the speed on it with two different mobile broadband providers. At first, I thought coverage was the problem, but I’m now wondering if there might be some settings that aren’t configured correctly?
When I test the speed, it ranges between 2–8 Mbit/s. The mobile broadband should be able to deliver between 60 and 350 Mbit/s on the 4G network. I’ve done some testing back and forth with the tpMiFi app, and sometimes I’ve been connected through the app (see picture below). Then I suddenly get speeds of 100–400 Mbit/s. Can someone help me figure out if there are any settings I need to change?

try connect m7200 to a pc and test the speed, you can get the actual speed of The mobile broadband
speed test result with wifi depends on your 2.4GHz environment, it would be solwer if it's too crowded

You are welcome
if you are looking for more stable and fast speed experience, dual band wifi(mainly 5G) is strongly recommended, and Within the budget, try products with higher UE-Category

@cloudwalker Thanks for the quick response. I have now tested by connecting the M7200 to my PC with a cable. The speeds varied from 1–2 Mbit/s to 10–12 Mbit/s for downloads. I tested 4–5 times and on two different websites, and most of the time the speeds were around 2 Mbit/s for download.

@cloudwalker Yes, I have tested the SIM, and it wok's fine. I suspect mye problems might be due either to a fault with the router or limitations related to the 2.4 GHz band. I think it's best for me that I return the router to the store where I bought it. I still have the right of withdrawal on it. Thanks for your quick responses:)
