For TL-PA511 V1 Only, cannot be upgraded on US version.

I know mine is a UK version and the UK one says it is Published on 14/06/13 but somehow the Firmware version listed in the TP-LINK Utility shows:

500A-5-0-5010-02-655-20101105-FINAL-B (Published on 14/06/13)

the 2nd one shows the following:

500A-5-2-5233-02-968-20120209-FINAL-B (Published on 25/06/12)

now tell me how the first one is suppose to be a newer firmware?

The version displayed on utility may not change after successful firmware-upgrade. Read my explanation here.

thanks for your explanation, but this does not take into account that the version number DOES change, and to a lower version number, with an older date, if i upgrade the the so called newer firmware.
