Archer T3U Nano, PC internet freeze whenever opening or closing new tab

It started 3 days ago, my internet became suddenly extremely unstable, simply opening the "network" menu on windows or closing a tab on firefox is enough to stall the whole network of my pc for 5-10 seconds, after that it goes back to being semistable
i tried to update drivers, windows anything that could matter but nothing changes, my internet keeps stalling for 5 seconds whenever i do something, playing games or chatting with friends is almost impossible
i have no idea what caused this, did my landlord router dying or is it on my side that the issue exist i have no clue.
i can't just ask my landlord to let me tinker with his router, so rebooting or anything that involves the router is off the table

Hi@Oshida,
Thank you for your reply.
I can't view the links you sent. But for your issue, here are some suggestions for you:
1. Switch network test: Create a hotspot with your phone, and test whether there is still lag after connecting?
2. Compare the wired connection of the PC to see if the same problem occurs?
3. Since the router only supports 2.4GHz, it is recommended that you connect to 2.4Ghz instead of 5Ghz. If possible, reset the Extender and only extend 2.4Ghz.
4. The cache may accumulate when the extender is running for a long time. Regular restart (unplug the power for 1 minute) may solve the problem you are experiencing.
Best Regards~

Hi@Oshida,
Thank you for contacting our community.
Here are some suggestions for your issue:
Step 1. Check Wi-Fi signal strength. If the signal is weak, move the computer closer to your router if possible.
Step2. Navigate to Device Manager in Control Panel >> Locate the wireless adapter in the list.>>Highlight the device in the listing >> Right-click and Select Properties >> Power Management >>Uncheck Allow computer to turn off this device..>> Click OK to close the window >> Reboot the computer.
Step 3. Check if the problem happens on 2.4GHz or 5GHz if it’s a dual-band adapter.
Step 4. Update the driver of the adapter (skip if you don’t know how to do that).
Step 6. Please try to ping the router's IP address “192.168.0.1”(we take the TP-Link's router IP address as an example), then please share the ping result. How to Use the Ping Command: FAQ425
Step 7. Reply us with the results above and tell us the operating system of your computer and what it looks like when the connection drops as the Wi-Fi signal disappears or other behaviors.

1. Cannot move computer closer to router, the router is the floor above me but a couple meters away, i'm using a RE220 to bridge from the router to my kitchen just bellow the router, then i used the T3U nano to bridge the 4-5 meters between the RE and my PC, the RE is in line of "sight" from my pc, there is nothing in between the two, the router only does 2.4 GHz so my RE use that to connect to it, then the RE extend the network both in 2.4GHz and 5GHz, each with different SSID than the original network
2. Done yesterday
3. The issue seems to happen "a little less" if i switch to the 2.4GHz Extended network, but it can still happen
4. Done yesterday
7. I'm on windows 10 and here an exemple of the issue happening
This is on the 5GHz Extender
This is on the 2.4GHz Extender
Here i just open the network menu, but similar things happen when i open or close a browser tab
here are the "advanced" settings that i don't really understand in the Device Manager
AdaptivityPara=0
EnableAdaptivity=Auto
HLDiffForAdaptivity=7
L2HForAdaptivity=Auto
LdpcCap="VHT LDPC TX|RX & HT LDPC TX|RX"
QoS Support=Auto
StbcCap="VHT STBC TX|RX & HT STBC TX|RX"
TxDutySelectLevel="Level 7"
VHT 2.4G=Enable
Wireless Mode=Auto
