Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.20.10 Build 20250428 Rel.62488

Hello,

SG3428X-M2 v1.20 since firmware 1.20.7 Build 20250328 I had been having an issue where one of my SFP modules that is in a static LAG just drops out and the switch needs to be restarted.  i updated to the RC firmware 1.20.10 and so far the problem has not occurred but I am now getting the following messages in my logs:

  • The temperature of the SFP module on XX-XX-XX-XX-XX's port Te1/0/28 is higher than warning point.
  • The voltage of the SFP module on XX-XX-XX-XX-XX's port Te1/0/26 is lower than warning point.

I'm seeing these messages on all for SFP ports.  All 4 modules are TP-Link TL-SM5310-T | 10GBase-T RJ45 SFP+.  Is anyone else seeing this?

Thanks!

Do you mean Release Candidate(RC) firmware? Or you mean official firmware? They are different. Just to confirm if you have a customized (unreleased) firmware.

The forum pre-release does not contain this model. If you mean official firmware, that would explain.

Or if you have a customized firmware or beta that was provided by the support rep. You can submit a feedback to the support rep regarding the cuostmized firmware or beta.

4 modules are used at the same time, according to the installation guide, this might cause high temp. Consider removing 26 and 28 and check if there is any similar log?
