wifi router upgrading problem

i have problem with router tp link wr940 n v 2.0
it has a problem that i can conect to it but without geting internet
so i tried factory reset many time with no result
then i tried upgrading
i dowonloaded firmare frim your support and when i try upgrade i get
invalid file format
also the info in the panel show that the device is not wr940 n v 2.0
but wr940 v5
plez help me

when i try upgrade i get invalid file format...
Did you extract the file before upgrade?
Check the correct hardware version on the bottom of router itself.
There is a troubleshooting guide about how to get internet by the router.

i downloaded file zipped so i extracted it
the device sticker info is
TL WR940N V 2.0
WHILE IN THE DEVICE PAGE
THE INFO IS AS BELOW

TL-WR940N V2 and TL-WR941ND V5 are using the same firmware.

As the model number is not the same on the back sticker and firmware status, I suggest you to open a ticket to the TP-Link support.
I think TP-Link manufacturing responsible of this crazy situation... :rolleyes:
