Model: Archer AX55
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Thave a general issue with setting up Easymesh with two AX55. They both can be configured as Easymesh main router but not as a Easymesh satellite, meaning one can't find the other. I have tried this again and again with various firmware versions. I have auto-update turned on on both routers. My setup is

                                   Floor1       Floor2
BridgedISPModem-->AX55_1-->AX55_2-->TV

The arrows are LAN to WAN connections. In this setup they can't find each other in Easymesh even though AX55_1 has literally AX55_2 as a client.  I also tried the
recommended connection procedure and first disconnected everything from AX55_2 and
moved it next to AX55_1 with nothing but power connected to AX55_2.

                                   Floor1
BridgedISPmodem -> AX55_1
                                   AX55_2

Nothing. They just can't find each other. I tried reseting swapping AX55_1 and AX55_2.
Nothing works. Putting them both as Easymesh main routers works but is obviously instable.

Hi@Couchpotato,

Thank you for contacting our community.

Do you want to create an Easymesh Network via Ethernet backhaul between your two Archer routers?

In this case, please don’t configure the satellite and make sure it is under factory mode at first, if it was configured before, reset the satellite router to factory defaults.

Then please refer to the FAQ for How to Build an Ethernet Backhaul Using Two EasyMesh Routers

Best Regards~
