WiFi Extender for Tapo Cameras in Shed

I have just got 2 Tapo C410 cameras. These will be placed into our shed and I need Wifi access. The shed does not get reception when the doors are closed, which as expected in a metal shed, so I want to get a good WiFi extender, prefer router with extender option, that has good long 4 antennas. The cheaper the better.
I was looking at the TP-Link ARCHER AX10 AX1500 but just read it does not have extender capabilities.
The extender will be positioned within the shed with 2 of the antennas poking out through the side of the shed to receive connection and 2 internal to provide signal to the cameras. Before you say it will not work, I have seen this done and it appears to have worked just fine.
Any suggested options?
Thanks

Hi @Sneaky1,
Thank you for contacting our community.
Here is the list with routers which support Range Extender mode.
However, if you are using it in a metal shed, it is not recommended to extend the network wirelessly.
It is more recommended connecting to the wired network and then connect the cameras wirelessly in the shed.
As we know, the interference of metal sheds to wireless may make the network unusable. Of course, these need to be tested in combination with the actual environment to determine the results.
Thanks.

@Joseph-TP Could you recommend which 2 would have the best extender distance wth 2.4ghz?
What is my best setup to use. Is having an Outdoor AP an option.
My current network uses Starlink with teh router set to pass through the signal to an older Telstra Gen 2 modem and 2 Gen 2 Boosters.
I am planning to remove the Telstra equipment and use the Starlink Router as the main connection for Wifi and the ethernet port to a switch for cable connected devices in teh same room. Or maybe I should add a new TP-Link router for compatability?
I then need to add an extender or AP to the other end of the house, quite a large home. Then add a way to extend that signal further to a shed 70m away.
I was looking at the Outdoor devices, and to then add en ethernet cable from that device to a small wifi device in the shed for wifi signal to the cameras.
Here is my plan with the Tapo Cameras
Is that the best way?
Thanks

Hi@Sneaky1,
Thank you for your detailed reply.
If you just want to add a device to expand the network, there is generally no compatibility problem. The Deco series, Router series, Range extender series, Access Point series and other home products can be used as devices to expand the network.
Unless you need to build a mesh network; Currently our devices are mainly divided into Deco Mesh devices and Easymesh devices.
According to the area of the house you provided, it is about 205 square meters (if you mark the unit in mm). Then I think you may need to add a few devices to cover the network of the entire house.
If you don't want to add too many devices, it is more appropriate to add wired devices, such as Access point ,regular Router and Deco, can extend the network of starlink router through Ethernet cable. Because the suitable range of range extender from main router is 8-10m, and the wireless signal is greatly affected by environmental interference and the loss is also large.
For metal sheds, no matter which type of product you choose, for antenna layout: use directional antennas to focus the signal on the working area to reduce the impact of metal reflection.
In addition, you can also consider devices with POE power supply: for example, our Business products, Access Point supports POE, which can simplify wiring. Among home products, the devices that support POE power supply include Deco X50-POE.
Of course, you can also consider business products. However, for product details, it is recommended that you consult the Business Community.
Alternatively, please continue to provide more demand details or related consultation on specific products, and I can also provide you with more appropriate suggestions based on your needs.
Best Regards~

Ok after quite a bit of testing I have taken the leap to get 2 additional cameras with 4G, namely the TC40GW's. These are now in the shed and appear to be working fine. The two C410s are now on the outside of the building serving other purposes.
Cheers for your thoughts and help offered.
