TP-LINK AC1300 won't pass 250mbps on Wi-fi 5Ghz band
TP-LINK AC1300 won't pass 250mbps on Wi-fi 5Ghz band

Hi, I have an AC1300 T3U(EU) Ver.1.0 adapter and I can't make it go above 250Mbps on my pc with Windows 11. I have tried
Different drivers with no succecs
Different usb ports
I have change my router width on 5Ghz band channels to different values
I have tried from my Devices-advanced settings to make the adapter operate only at IEEE 802.11a/a/n/ac values eg
My adapter wont pass the 250mbps speed even if windows finds the max speed at 866mbps, my pc and the router have max distance 4 meters with no obstacles between
My phone can maximise the router speed of 500mbps+ and it's on the same distance with my pc.
Any help will be apriciated.

@Saloufas Do you have a link for 1030.52.424.2025? I haven't tried this one
edit: well it seems this driver is down for causing issues with signal

1030.52.424.2025 also came via Windows Update a couple of months ago, hence I don't have a download link.

Don't forget to restart the PC after making the changes
With this solution I got another issue, When I play an online game the connection will drop. The solution for that is by changing the entry in regedit from 2 to 1 to force the Driver to use USB 2.0 again to make the connection stable while gaming online. I don't know if you will face this issue or not but keep that in mind
Note: After every wifi driver update or Windows big update (for example from 24H2 to 25H2) the registry entries will be reseted and you will need to make the changes again

It's just a bug in the icon but the driver works fine
