MA260 PAP CHAP authentication problem

Firmware Version : i dont know where should i have to find it
ISP : Telenor Hungary

im struggeling with an MA 260. When i enter into the config/advanced tab and i would like to change the authentication protocol setting from CHAP to PAP it does not do anything (well technically does, but later it forgets my settings ad goes back to the default CHAP).
So i tought that i will find a new firmware for the stick or a least a never version of the software of the stick, but i couldnt. There are some manuals on the official page, but these do not help at all. I tried two other USB stick from two other vendors and it worked fine.
So i assume that it is a bug, but we have bought 7 of these sticks, so...
Can anyobody help me in this case?
