Turns off at night and device not detected by utilities

I've heard about the energy saving problem and how to fix it, so I downloaded the utilities with W10 but it doesn't detect the device, even though I'm connected through it.
From what I've read, the problem is that it doesn't turn on after going into energy saving mode, but I don't understand why mine even goes into it if I leave my pc on all night downloading. I turns off about 2-3h after I'm gone, but the PC is still working normaly (not in sleeping mode).
