Hardware Version : Not Clear

Ref model TL-WA901N
Tried setting up a wireless android tv receiver box but tv screen states dhcp not ready.

The box finds wifi etc, I've looked at wifi set up and it states dhcp activated?

I'm fairly certain its the wifi itself?, Any suggestions appreciated!

DHCP is disabled on WA901N and it can not work as an DHCP server.
Did you connect your router to LAN port of WA901N?
Are you trying to use it as an access point?

What's your topology of the network? Is there a router before the AP? Which mode does the AP works on?
There is a smart DHCP on the TL-WA901ND.Once a DHCP server exists in the network the 901ND will turn off its own DHCP to avoid DHCP conflict.
You can login the web management page of 901 and navigate to DHCP->DHCP Settings to confirm if it is on and DHCP->DHCP Client List to assure if the tv obtain a IP address from the AP.
