Have an ac1900 V1 With Firmware 150507. I want to simply restrict specific mac addresses access to the internet. I have tried through parental controls and have set a specific schedule for a specific mac address. Then I have to add allowed websites. I have no choice but to enter a web address. I am not looking to restrict web sites, I just want the router to act as an on/off switch for specific devices. I have even tried the newest firmware which seemed to simplify the process, but alas, it did not work, was told to downgrade firmware (which I did). Any help would be appreciated. BTW I have read the user manual, and there to they want me to include specific web address that are allowed or restricted.

If you want to block all internet access, you can put in a invalid domain name like www.1234567.com.
If you want to allow it access all internet, you can try to put . in domain name to see if it helps.

Thank you for the reply. I was able to figure out the issue. What was important for me to distinguish was the difference between Parental Controls and Access Control. Access Control was what I needed to allow me to automatically control the on/off time access for every specific device. This way there was no specific website blockage during on times, and complete blockage to the Internet in the off time. Parental Controls seems to be geared more toward allowing access to specific websites and blocking of all the rest. In my scenario, Parental Control would not have been appropriate.
