AC1750 Range extender will not work with Sky full fibre router

Recently changed to Sky full fibre BBand and my range extender will not connect to "White Sky router" can anyone help please

Provided that the Wi-Fi name and password of your router stay unchanged, the extender can automatically reconnect after a restart.
If you've changed your router or its Wi-Fi settings, you'll need to reconfigure your extender. Here's how:
With the power on, use a pin to press the reset hole for 1-3 seconds to reset the extender.
Please reconnect to the extender's Wi-Fi and go ahead with the setup. How to set up a TP-Link Range Extender

@Joseph-TP Hi Joseph,
Thank you very much for your reply, very kind of you to take the time.
I have tried WPS which has always worked for every change of router, however this time it will not make friends with the Sky router. From my research so far it is suggested that Sky will only work with Sky Max Hubs. That would be typical of Sky, unfortunately I have just locked myself into a 2year contract. Hence my plea for help.
I will give the other 2 methods of connection, which you suggest, a try. If I have any success I will let you know.
The router is - SR213-02-UK-wht. Running at 150 Mbs . The model of the extender is RE450
