Change hostname on TP-Link TL-WA1201 Access Point / Extender

Hello, I have several of the TL-WA1201 range extenders, which I'm using to connect wired network devices to my network. The wireless bridge is more reliable than WiFi security cameras, and makes it easy to add multiple wired devices along with a local 5 or 8-port unmanaged network switch.
The problem with the TL-WA1201 is that it doesn't allow me to change the hostname. On my router, I see all three of my TL-WA1201 devices as the same hostname in the DHCP logs, so I can't differentiate which one is which.
Please update the firmware for the TL-WA1201 so I can modify the hostname. Thank you.
I saw a similar thread was already created here, but it's locked: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/682034

Welcome to our community.
Would you like to distinguish the TL-WA1201 in different locations in the network? If so, you can consider changing it in the client list interface of the main router.
Take the TP-Link Archer AX55 client list as an example:

@Joseph-TP hello Joseph, thanks for the welcome.
I am using a variety of different networking equipment.
My primary router is an Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X.
I would like the TP-Link TL-WA1201 devices to identify themselves to the DHCP server using a unique hostname speciifed on each device. This is how most other network devices work, including TP-Link Access Points (I also own: EAP225, EAP245, EAP670), and also operating systems such as Windows 11, MacOS, and Linux.
Could TP-Link update the firmware so that a client hostname can be specified on each device? This makes it easy to differentiate devices when looking at DHCP server logs and configuration.

Hello @Sfghjkbvgo5790 ,
According to the translation of Google Translate, your question is that you need to change password of the Access Point. If there is any discrepancy, please describe it in English.
When you first log in to the web interface of the access point, you need to create a login/Local password to manager the device. If you forget the login/admin password you created before, you need to reset the access point back to default settings.
How to reset: Press and hold the reset button until the Power LED blinks.
If you want to change the admin password, please visit http://tplinkap.net, log in to the access point with the old admin password, and go to System > Administration > Change Password.
