Model: Archer AX53
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version:

I have an issue where I have bought a BE5500 and already had a tplink device. Recently I have lost access to the ax50 as it is continually redirected from the manual ip address I put in. This is not a cache issue of the browser and is associated with firefox, chrome etc.

It appears the BE5500 also has resolution issues with DNS as a new device and is a major problem, feeling like it needs to be returned [other post] but not being able to access my older device in a constant loop is just poor [noting that I can not post the real word I want to say]. Any suggestions. Incognito mode does not work either.

Hello@Chirs ,

Welcome to our community.

If you use the IP address to log in, can you log in successfully?

Are you using VPN? Please turn it off for comparison.

Please check if the DNS configuration of BE5500 is correct. You can change it to a public DNS (such as Google's 8.8.8.8 or Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1).

How to Change the DNS servers on the wireless router and DSL modem router (New UI)

Please make sure if the old device Archer AX53 is assigned a conflicting IP address. It is recommended to set it to AP mode.

How to configure the TP-Link wireless router as Access Point
