BE400 - 'slow' download speeds over 5Ghz

Recently purchased the BE400 as it touted support up to WiFi 7.

My PC has WiFi 6E (Gigabyte Eagle WIFI6E) and we have a 1000Mbps internet connection. When I connect via cable, I can achieve that speed. When I connect via the 5GHz channel, download speed is at max 150Mbps. The router is roughly 6m away from my PC, with an almost direct line of sight.

When I stand next to the router and test the speed with my phone, I see 1000Mbps and I also see that same speed on my phone when sitting next to my PC. So this is obviously a PC issue. .

I've downloaded the latest Gigabyte (Realtek) and Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210 160Mhz drivers, but no luck. Any suggestions on what I may be missing?

This is pretty embarrassing. It's the first time using WiFi on a PC and I wasn't aware that there is an antenna that comes with the motherboard. I've plugged that in and I'm now getting the expected speeds.

If you run into the same issue, check if there's an antenna that you need to connect :)
